Character Description : Ikuya Asano 
 
 He arrived in the Twelve Kingdoms with Yoko and Yuka and was the boyfriend of Yuka. Yoko secretly had a crush on him back at their high school days but that all changed when they were separated in a battle. Asano is not the kind of character that you find standing up to danger when his friends are involved. His initial coming to save Yoko in the bus back at Japan had no danger to his life and thus he acted like the street-wise charming guy but here when his life was threatened, all he wanted was to run away or hid behind his friends where they take out the danger from him. Later in the series, he grew a little mad and even purchased a revolver and attempted suicide but acted against ending his life. He wanted to find Yoko and get out of here because he knows that Yoko would have the means and he can use her to accomplish that. When he needed to get his aim, he almost killed a boy which Yoko was trying to protect and when Yoko found that out, she was going to punish him once the rebellion was over. Asano redeemed himself by this action, but that also cost him his life. |
