Character Description : Rakushuu 
 
 Rakushuu is a poor Half-Breast that lives in KO with his mother. Although he was very bright as a student, he was not allowed to study in college or even get a job because the laws in KO did not permit a half-breast to do that. However, even though with all these hardship, Rakushuu is still a very pleasant and approachable person. He found Yoko dying in the rain and carried her back to his home to heal her back to health. Carrying a full grown person is not really the simplest of tasks for a rodent that is only half her height. But some how he manages and then after 3 days, he helps Yoko get to EN where the King of EN would be able to help her and he would be able to find a place to continue his study ( hopefully ). But, on their way there, Rakushuu was almost killed and Yoko abandoned him. Angry at first, but he instantly felt sorry for Yoko and tried all ways to locate Yoko. ( Until this stage, Yoko has contemplated to kill him thrice already¡ but he still continues to help her in the best way he can ). It was in EN that he found out that Yoko was the next Queen of KEI and he was a little sad because he then felt a distance between them and leaves her only to be stopped by her and scolded for his prejudice ways of thinking. Rakushuu then understood that Yoko would become a great queen and he then persuaded her to find the path that is best for her. Of course, after Yoko took office, they both still kept in contact, but she was queen and he was busy studying and did not meet up as much. Just as he was one day traveling to EN to locate Yoko, he met up with the Princess of HO, Shoukei and once again we see him transforming a girl who was full of hatred and sorrow into someone sympathic and kind. ( It seems that Rakushuu really has a way with women! ) A rodent is of course quite useless in war ( he can't even shoot straight with a bow... ) but it was because of him that KEI has found their right Queen, HO finally has a provisional king and the princess of HO finally found her way. In the ending episode, we see Rakushuu being transferred to a College in KEI where he can study and also be by Yoko's side. |
