Character Description : Yoko Nakajima ( Kei-ou ) 
 
 Yoko was transported here from Japan to the Twelve Kingdoms because Keiki sensed the aura of a king in her and thus traveled all the way to get her. But not only that, because he sensed the danger that was to befall Yoko if he did not act. She at that time was just a 16-17 year old high school student. She looked different from when she was in Japan and in the Twelve Kingdoms because she was a Taiki which means her realy nationality was a citizen of KEI, but because of some reason she ended up in Japan and was born from the womb of a woman. She shed her old appearance when she reached the Twelve Kingdoms like all Taiki. ( Strangely that did not happen to Naotaka...) Her journey to regain her throne was not an easy one as she was plagued with dangers and if it was not for Rakushuu, she may have already lost all hope and gotten herself killed as a result of that. But once she knew what she needed to do, she saved Keiki from the fake queen and thus took her place as queen. This does not end here as once she took the throne, she was thrown into a sea of politics and made may problems. She was then disillusioned in who should she trust and thus after a series of bad decisions she dismissed her most loyal subjects and gotten a few of them killed too... Angered by this, she requested that Keiki took her place temporary so she could see her kingdom for herself and set off to learn from an old master who later turned out to be Shohaku, the legendary Immortal that made the Sheath of her sword. During her time with her people, she learned many things and even joined a rebellion to remove a tyrant in one of her states. But of course, none of the rebels know of this until she was carried by Keiki in his Kirin form to stop the Royal guards from attacking. Yoko's joining of the rebellion was because their cause was a just one and thus won the respect and loyalty of many and even Shohaku when she rejected his offer to make for her a new sheath. She continues to study under Shohaku after this in the aim to become a better queen for her people and her first policy was to abolish the bowing system which causes embarrassments and jealousy among people. |
